Case | 15 tons per hour, Automated Depalletizing & Debagging

Hereunder we will like to share the case from one of our Asian customer.  End-user has long relied on manual depalletizing & debagging from raw materials transfer, debagging, dumping, bag collection all by manual with high labor costs and low efficiency and low space utilization.

Solution

Introduced MCONVEY depalletizing & debagging system.

Automated process:

  • Feeding: A forklift places full pallets onto a conveyor, which moves them to the debagging station.
  • Depalletizing & Debagging: The gripper takes full-layer material bags, cuts and discharges materials into the hopper, while empty bags are squeezed out and recycled automatically.
  • Collecting: Empty pallets are automatically conveyed and stacked for forklift pickup.
  • Conveying: materials are delivered to silos with no ground contact or accumulation.

Automatic Bag Emptying System

Results

  • Debagging efficiency: Steady output of 15 tons/hour, meeting continuous production demands.
  • Labor saving: Reduced from multiple workers to just one operator for monitoring.
  • Workshop space optimization: No more floor stacking of raw materials, improve equipment optimization or material flow.
  • Pallet management: Empty pallets are automatically stacked and collected, keeping site tidy without manual handling.

Application

  • High-volume bagged material and high-frequency debagging lines
  • Workshop with limited space looking to reduce floor storage of raw materials
  • Companies aiming to lower manual labor intensity and improve automation
  • Production lines that want full automation from feeding and debagging to depalletizing
