Hereunder we will share our automated Centralized material handling system in film extrusion. Different kinds of materials and formulas are used on this customer’s multi-layer film extrusion lines. Manual operation previously resulted in low efficiency and inaccurate dosing. Mconvey redesigned the full process from feeding and storage to dosing and centralized conveying, replacing manual operations with full automation.
Automated Feeding for Clean Material Storage
The system is equipped with two automatic debagging systems at the front end. It automatically completes bag debagging and feeding, greatly cutting manual work. The unit supports long-duration continuous production and eases labor intensity.
Matched with 4 tons square storage bins, it enables centralized sealed storage of plastic pellets. The bins prevent moisture, impurities and material cross-contamination, keeping raw materials clean from the source and ensuring stable production.
Accurate Dosing & Consistent Material Conveying
Fitted with 13 untis gravimetric blenders, the system delivers high-precision dynamic dosing for raw materials and additives. It eliminates inaccurate manual proportioning and feeding errors. Combined with material distribution stations, materials are conveyed in a sealed manner and supplied to each extrusion line on demand. This enables simultaneous operation of multiple units for orderly and stable mass production.
Stable Conveying, Energy Saving & Steady Production
Featuring negative pressure closed-loop conveying, two 55kW permanent magnet two-stage Roots vacuum pump units with dust removal realize efficient long-distance sealed transfer. The variable frequency design saves energy and reduces noise. A standby pump guarantees 24-hour continuous production. Linked vacuum hopper loaders on each extruder deliver uniform feeding, preventing material breaks and jams for stable extrusion.
