Automated powder handling system is gradually becoming an important starting point for new pipe plant. Recently, Mconvey successfully provided a complete front-end automated material handling system for a new PVC pipe factory, helping customers achieve efficient and controllable production layout.
Customer invested 5 PVC pipe extrusion lines and faced with the challenges of multi-line simultaneous operation and high requirements for formula stability, the customer chose to introduce an automated material handling system at the beginning of the factory construction.
According to customer’s production capacity design and material characteristics, Mconvey customized overall material handling covering from material feeding, dosing, mixing and conveying to extruder.
Automatic Feeding
Centralized debagging system, one-time feeding, multi-point distribution, realize dust-free transportation in the workshop, improve the efficiency of raw material use, and also improve the cleanliness and safety of the factory.
Powder Formula Weigher
PVC powder weighing adopts gain-in-weight + loss-in-weight dosing to achieve accurate proportioning of main materials and auxiliary materials and online weighing records, ensuring high production and high precision, with an accuracy of +1g, providing guarantee for the consistency of each batch of products.
High speed Mixing Combo
High speed compound mixer ensure different type of material even mixed. Mixing output increased 50%, but energy consumption is reduced by 20%, providing support for the stable feeding of extruder.
